Rise above people

Honest. Agile. Smart.

What do you want from a consultant that specializes in leadership coaching and developing strategy?

You want them to tell the truth. Once they have got to know you, your team and your organisation you want them to tell you exactly what they see. A candid, clear and complete perspective on the opportunities to seize, the barriers to overcome and how to achieve your goals, without fear or favour.

You want them to be flexible and energetic. They need to understand every level of your business, be capable of working with any stakeholder and able to respond to change whilst staying focused on the prize. They should be able to work at pace, in person or online, locally, nationally and internationally.

Above all, you want nouse. The experience of working for decades with large blue chip and small owner-run businesses. Vast knowledge of completely different cultures, categories, brands and ways of succeeding. The intelligence to mine data for gold. The talent to coach, facilitate and inspire the best out of people. Instinct.

We are Rise Above. We are honest, agile and smart.

Sean Moore, Co-founder

Coaching & Strategy Partner

He’s always been a teacher, really. He started with teenagers, then switched to advertising where he was fast-tracked to the board and MD.

He didn’t like the way most consultants worked, so launched the virtual consultancy Cambridge Strategy Centre twenty-five years ahead of the market.

He has worked with businesses in most sectors and prides himself on cross-referencing the best stuff (aka pinching ideas) to benefit clients.

He loves family, reading and Liverpool FC. He quite likes golf but he’s rubbish at it.

Paul Gibson, Co-founder

Coaching & Delivery Partner

He was a media boy wonder, rising to director ridiculously early and the youngest CEO in the industry not much later (pass the sick bag).

Every company he touches, including the ones he has bought and sold, turns to gold.

He has lived and worked all over the place, which he certainly isn’t – concentration, change and support are his watchwords. But not in the pub.

He got married on Vancouver Island recently and has supported Chelsea forever.
